Isotopic measurements suggest that the lead white pigments on qeros in panels (a) and (b) are of European origin while those on the qero in panel (c) are derived from an Andean source. The qeros in panels (a) and (b) have been attributed to the late 1500 s or early 1600 s on the basis of style [19, 77] while the qero in panel (c) has been attributed to the 1700 s [1]
