Puzzle solving is extremely challenging, as the fragments are highly faded and degraded, they have irregular shapes, many fragments are missing. Moreover, some fragments, as the one on the very right, show former, post-excavation changes – here, for instance, sticking fragment edges by an adhesive, which may not reflect the arrangement in the original object.
