Approximated deposition of PM2.5 to the Munch paintings in the Oslo University Aula since 1955, with and (hypothetically) without particle filters installed in the ventilation system after 1975. The deposition is reported as the midpoint of the uncertainty range, to be comparable with the accumulated and year 2020 deposition values shown in Fig. 6. The uncertainty range represents the (similar span) variation of the I/O ratio scenarios, between 0.5–0.8 without filters and 0.1–0.4 with filters. The probable filter removal of 62%, and percentages removal between uncertainty range limits from before to after filtration are noted together with the calculation from the I/O ratios in Table 2
