Application of multi-modal 2D and 3D imaging and analytical techniques to document and examine coins on the example of two Roman silver denarii: video collection

In February 2018, Heritage Science published the paper "Application of multi-modal 2D and 3D imaging and analytical techniques to document and examine coins on the example of two Roman silver denarii", by Mona Hess, Lindsay Macdonald and Jaroslav Valach. The authors selected two ancient Roman silver denarii as test objects to establish whether digital recording methods can support professional numismatic comparison of features and properties.

Alongside the research paper, the authors included the following videos as additional files, hosted on Figshare, which we present here as part of our video archive.
